SAME FALSE CHARGES, DIFFERENT CAMPAIGN
At the end of this blog is a letter to the editor published in the NCTimes yesterday from a member of the Guffanti Group, Jill Parvin. Every two years similar false charges are made by the ANTI education folks. I predicted such charges would be made and the paper would publish them more than three weeks ago on this blog. September 27 post "What to Expect as Election Nears"
AN EXCUSE TO STEAL OUR SIGNS
Each two year cycle they run the same political campaign. Make the false charge ‘our signs are being stolen”. Make this charge loud and often. Try to gain sympathy for the ANTI-public education group with the lie. Then use the lie to steal and destroy massive numbers of the Pro-education candidate’s signs. Now that that Guffanit’s Liars Club has started the false charges part of the campaign, most of our signs will disappear.
JIM GIBSON AND REED MILLER CAUGHT STEALING PRO-PUBLIC ED CANDIDATES
Our VTA president caught VUSD School Board President, Jim Gibson and his good friend Reed Miller (prominent ‘christian’ business man in town) with a car trunk load of our campaign signs in the last election. She asked for our signs back. They refused! Then she took out her cell phone camera and they reluctantly returned the signs.
THREE HOURS LATER ALL OUR SIGNS STOLEN
One person on our sign committee a couple of elections ago made a three hour route around Vista early one Saturday. As he finished his route and was returning home he happened to drive back on Melrose Ave near North Coast Church. Every one of the signs he had posted on his route less than three hours before was gone. No other signs were noticeably missing—not for mayor, not for city council, not for judge and certainly not any of the ANTI public education candidate signs. The only signs missing were the signs for the PRO-public education candidates.
OUR 'DISAPPEARED' MARKED WOODEN STAKES REAPPEAR WITH ANTI-PUBLIC ED CANDIDATE NAMES
That same campaign a second person on the sign committee suspected that the wooden stakes holding up the signs he was posting were being taken and “re-cycled” by the ANTI-public education group. He found his signs down, ripped up, and no stakes any where to be seen. He couldn’t believe that the people who claimed to be running as “Christians” with “Christian principles” would steal the wooden signs. However he decided to check the idea out. He used an ink stamp from his teachers supplies to stamp all of the wooden stakes on the new signs he put together. Sure enough within days he found the “stamped stakes” holding up the signs of the ANTI public education folks.
NEVER TOUCH THE 'ANTI' SIGNS, WE ARE BETTER THAN THEY ARE
Remember we NEVER touch the ANTI stakes or signs. We are the better people. We are the ones with ethics and morality. No matter how much “they” lie about us or how many of our signs they steal, we DO NOT do the same to them.
In past elections we have actually put up their signs that we see blown over as we post our signs. NOT THIS TIME, it the ANTIs see you near a sign they will hold a press conference and accuse you of stealing their signs. Give them no cover or excuse to lie this time.
HERE IS THEIR LIE PUBLISHED IN NCTIMES, NOW THEY ARE 'JUSTIFIED' IN THE WHOLE SALE THEFT OF OURS

Community losesIn this era of political freedom, political signage is a First Amendment right that is commonly abused by many people including, at times, the press. What I am talking about is when signs go up, there are people who take them down because they don't know the law regarding public land and the First Amendment. I am talking about all of the Anderson, Fernandez and Guffanti signs that have gone missing. ... It is only a matter of time until they are silenced altogether. In the end, it is the community that loses.Jill ParvinVista
