Phone Banking--Great Fun!

I did some phone banking the other night. It went great. I was calling on a friendly list. Virtually everyone I talked to said they would be voting for our PRO public education candidates JAKA, LILLY, and CHUNKA. In two and a half hours I was reached 81 contacts.

PHONE CONTACTS HAD SEEN OUR CAMPAIGN SIGNS

Many of contacts already knew who to vote for because they had seen our signs! Kudos to the sign committee. Way to go Randy Weins and friends. The community knows who the teachers support thanks to the long hours of hard work of the sign guys and gals. Keep up the good work team.

CONTACTS CONFUSED BY THE PATTY ANDERSON DECEPTION--"FALSE FLAG" SIGNS

The only down side was that three of my contacts had seen the "false flag" signs of Patty Anderson and thought that she was recommended by the teachers. So sad that a person who represents herself as a Christian to get votes decides that deception is a Christian value. As you may recall from earlier blogs, Patty Anderson campaign signs are prominently labelled as "Teachers for Patty Anderson". She did the same thing in the last election two years ago.
She is just as truth challenged as Guffanti.

Of course the teachers did not endorse her last time or this time.

Look at the city council candidate signs and you will see that only the city council candidates endorsed by the firefighters say that on their signs. No non-endorsed candidate puts up signs claiming endorsement from the firefighters.

Most other unions would tear down 'false flag" signs like Patty Anderson. WE DO NOT! We are better than the ethically challenged Patty Anderson and her friend Guffanti. DO NOT GO NEAR HER LYING SIGNS.

CHANGING SCRIPT WORDING, BUT NOT MEANING, IS OK

Sorry got my chain of thought interrupted, phone banking was fun and rewarding. It was great talking with so many fine VUSD voters. I found that I could change the "script" a bit personalizing it for me. Reading the originally written script did not flow as easily off my tongue as it should. Changing the script wording without changing the meaning is allowed.
