Bales Busy Work, teacher's families suffer

TEACHERS FORCED TO DO UNPAID EXTRA HOURS DAILY

Under the Bales Regime classroom teachers are being forced to work several unpaid hours a day to do her ‘required’ busy work. The spouses of teachers are complaining that they never come home and when they do all they do is sit and fill out forms. The children of teachers left alone and neglected as teachers are forced to spend 10 and 12 hours a day at school.

TEACHERS RUN OUT OF TIME TO SERVE STUDENTS

Teachers have been burdened with so much extra Bales Busy Work that they do not have time to adequately lesson plan or correct student work.

A week’s lesson plan on every desk every day, new standards written on white boards every twelve minutes when lessons change, beginning of the year registration forms checked and alphabetized by teachers instead of office staff, computer attendance, self evaluation forms running four pages that teachers must fill out on the various student groups and then write paragraphs of interventions, pacing guides that are inviolate no matter your students needs, and on and on and on. All of this on top of trying to teach and keep track of student achievement.

NO EMPATHY, NO COMPASSION, WHO CARES ABOUT TEACHER FAMILIES?

Bales does not care what happens to you or your families. She seems incapable of normal human warmth or the ability to empathize with others. To her you are no different from a cog in a machine--worth nothing and easily replaceable.

Guffanti, Gibson and Patty Anderson are cut from the same pattern as Bales. If they win a majority their mean spirited uncaring vindictive treatment of teachers will continue and in all likelihood become so much worse.

Elections matter.
