Our ANTI friends get almost delusional sometimes. An article appears in the North County Times saying that the California Teachers Association is going to challenge the legal finding that the Vista Teachers Association owes Vista Unified School District money for the release time president. It should be noted that the recent legal decision that Jim Gibson sought out that said that VTA owed money goes against every other legal precedent of the last twenty years. So it is no wonder CTA and VTA challenged its conclusion and challenge the districts request for "repayment".
Sadly our ANTI friends read this article and conclude that without question VTA not only owes the money, but has admitted that it owes the money.
Yes, they live in a fantasy world. Only ANTIs could read an article saying one thing and come to a completely different understanding but if they believed in reason and facts they would not be ANTIs.
The article is here:

My response to the delusional ANTI is below.

VUSD Taxpayer was factually incorrect on February 11, 2010, 7:26 am when he stated: "The real question is why is the Union stalling on returning money that they have already admitted should not have been paid to them?'
Obviously VUSD Taxpayer did not read this article. The article indicates just the opposite of what VUSD taxpayer incorrectly asserts.
The California Teachers Association does NOT agree nor does the Vista Teachers Association agree that any money is owed the district.
The contract language for release time president was reviewed by lawyers hired by the school district many times before and found to be perfectly legal. Release time presidents with associations paying for a replacement has been found perfectly legal for more than twenty years in dozens if not hundreds of California School districts.
Why is it that when the facts go against our ANTI friends, they think it is morally and ethically justified to make up phony facts?
