Good news another Pro public education blogger has added a post to the North County Times blogs. Our new friend is TeacherLady here is what she wrote regarding the political gift of a rose to Dr. Joyce Bales by the radical right editorial staff at that newspaper.

I have to agree with con no more. Dr. Bales deserves only raspberries, no roses, for her lack of leadership and her behavior. When the board declared Impasse, all that transpired during negotiations became open information. Dr. Bales was asked to consider taking a pay cut, and her representative came to the bargaining table and told the VTA that Bales REFUSED to consider a pay cut! It was only after that first board meeting where hundreds of teachers showed up and called the school board and Bales on their and her deplorable behavior, that she backpedaled and lied -- saying that she never said she wouldn't take a pay cut.
It is no secret that the NCT has been consistently biased against the teachers in Vista. I will be surprised if this post isn't cut.
It is a shame that, as a source of information for the society, this paper cannot at least report the TRUTH.
